James Christensen Paintings Questions

besides the capitaliztion problems is this okay? feel free to add things?

the folk culture in denmark are like most families on the typical farm raising various types of livestock and grains. some lifestyle differences between older people and younger families: are that older people have more traditional customs. they would take the time to talk and have coffee or tea two to three times a day, but the younger ones might only do it once a day. moreover, the popular culture in denmark consist of james denmark a step dancer, the jelferry girls, and helena christensen (victoria secret model). the foods in denmark can be heavy, consisting of mainly of meat and fish. whereas, in brazil the folk culture consist of paintings on ceramics dating back to 1820, and music from all sorts of cultural groups. similarly, the popular culture in brazil, are sports. the most notable being futebol (soccer). the brazilian national soccer team is very popular, both in brazil and internationally.

You have some punctuation and grammar problems, too. Also the verbs aren’t what they could be.
First sentence– Since “the folk culture” is a single thing, the verb has to be, too. Second sentence– don’t use the colon. Sentence starting with the word “Moreover,” again the verb must match the singular word “culture.” The sentence beginning “Whereas” seems like it should be the start of a new paragraph, without the word whereas, and in that sentence you again must match the verb to the singular word “culture.” The last three sentences need work, too. I would leave off the word “Similarly” and drop the comma between Brazil and are, and you must connect the sentence about soccer to the one before it, perhaps with the word “with”… because, as you have it, the sentence on football is a fragment. The last sentence… is OKAY!
