any good decorating suggestions?
i have a very artsy room. a quick description of my room is 2 teal walls, 2 light blue walls, 2 windows and a normal double door closet. some decorations i already have are
-chalk board
-painting friends make me
-real art
-masks from art class i made
-shoe drawings
-a paper mache shoe that looks like ice cream
- pictures
-guitars
-a small bulletin board
-funky mirrors
-cool pillows
-bendy lamps
-and many small things my younger cousins have made me.
i still have a lot of open places on 2 walls. i don’t know what to put in them. it looks like my room is lopsided because of the sorta empty walls. what should i out there?

Have you thought about taking everything down, starting out with a clean slate and rehanging or placing items not hung on your walls around the room evenly? Try to group like items by subject matter (you mentioned a few things about shoes, so there’s one set). Your bulletin board I would put over/behind/nearest to your study space. I’d put the cool pillows on your bed if they were small or over in a corner near your guitars if they are the larger floor pillows. Hang your guitars on one wall with hooks (check out IKEA for those) and make that corner the place where you hang out with friends. The bendy lamps … depending upon the size, either on your desk if a desk lamp or over in the guitar corner if it’s a floor lamp. Group the funky mirrors on a wall near where you apply your makeup. I’d make sure to hang the “real” art in amongst your own as a way of showing anyone who comes to your room that you are serious about your art and that this is what you aspire to be. Not sure about the chalk board though.
