Fine Art Photography Marketing Questions

DC Photographer?
I am a student in the DC area, currently persuing a degree in Photography. I have been studying photography in school for seven years now, and have been studying on my own for over ten years.
Although I am young, I managed a commercial portrait studio for three years before leaving because I was bored with what I was doing. I am now looking for a job, and would like to get one in the field of photography…. I realized that I miss it.
Unfortunately, I don’t know where to start looking. I KNOW that I don’t want to go back to the retail photographic market because I was just miserable there, doing the same thing in the studio over and over again every day. I wouldn’t mind working as an assistant on wedding shoots, and I’d be absolutely thrilled to do some still life catalog work… (I have a very extensive B+W portfolio of fine art stuff, and a color/digital portfolio of portraiture)
Is there anywhere that I can find a list of local, art-related job openings?
Go to www.craigslist.com >> Washington DC >> Jobs, and run a search for “photographer” or “photography.” I just did it and got a lot of results : )
Good luck!!
