Ever heard of a painter named Forman early 1900′s?
I aquired a painting about 20 years ago which is done in opaque watercolor. Its of a Japanese man and woman very detailed about 9×12 on paper.They are in very colorful full dress. The woman is standing infront of the man and he has his arms outsretched as if to protect her. It is signed with the name Forman and what appears to be another letter in front of that. The date is !916.
Does any know of a painter from that era .?
